Erika-Jane worked as a set builder for the stop motion short film “Peace of Heart”. The film was screened at international film festivals and won the Manipulate Award 2026 at the Manipulate Festival.
Erika-Jane Martin graduated from City of Glasgow College with a HND in Model Making for Film & TV in 2021. She specialises in miniatures and prop design. Erika-Jane has since gone on to freelance prototype model making for COP-26 as well as backstage designing props for various theatre productions.
Erika-Jane is proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3D Printing software, and is trained in workshop efficiency. She is also skilled in traditional art and design, including various medias such as acrylic paints, sketching, and life drawing among others.
Erika-Jane holds an MA in Classical Civilisation from the University of Glasgow, with specialist training in model making and fabrication for film, television, and live theatre. She is currently moving into Scotland’s heritage, museums and historic visitor attraction sector. Open to freelance design and fabrication commissions.
